We collect and store information in the following categories:

A) Account and Authentication Information

  • Information associated with signing in using Google Sign-In or Sign in with Apple (for example: name, email address, profile photo if provided by the sign-in provider).
  • Authentication identifiers used to keep you signed in securely (e.g., Firebase Authentication user identifiers).

B) Profile and Contact Information

  • Phone number.
  • Delivery information such as address and city.
  • Notes you provide (e.g., delivery notes).

C) Orders and Transactions

  • Order details such as items purchased, quantities, total amount, delivery details, and order status.
  • Payment-related information you choose to submit, including payment proof (for example, an uploaded image) when applicable.

D) Location Information (Personal Data)

  • If you grant location permission, we collect and store your approximate or precise location.
  • We update and save your location each time you log in to the App.
  • We use stored location information for delivery-related and operational purposes, such as improving delivery accuracy, confirming delivery details, and supporting order fulfillment.

E) Device and Technical Information

  • Device information (such as device type, operating system version) and basic app diagnostics to operate and secure the App.
  • Push notification token (device token) to send you notifications.

2) How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Provide and operate the App (authentication, profile management, ordering, delivery flows).
  • Process and manage orders and customer requests.
  • Review payment proof submissions where applicable.
  • Send important messages related to your account or orders (including push notifications).
  • Prevent fraud, abuse, and unauthorized access.
  • Maintain, troubleshoot, and improve the App and backend services.
  • Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms and policies.

3) How We Share Your Information

We may share information in the following cases:

A) Service Providers

We use third-party service providers to run the App, including Firebase Authentication, Firebase Cloud Messaging (FCM), and hosting/infrastructure providers.

B) Operational Sharing

We may share relevant order and delivery details with our staff and delivery/operations personnel as needed to fulfill your order (for example: name, phone number, address, delivery notes, and location information when relevant for delivery).

C) Legal and Safety

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect the rights, safety, and security of users, Caffettino, or the public.

We do not sell your personal information.

4) Data Retention

We keep your information (including location information if you provided it) only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy.

5) Your Choices and Rights

You can update certain profile details in the App, control permissions (such as location) and notifications in your device settings, and request deletion by contacting us.

6) Security

We implement reasonable safeguards designed to protect your information, but no system is 100% secure.

7) Children's Privacy

The App is not intended for children under 13.

8) International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed outside Lebanon (for example, where service providers operate).

9) Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time.
